GDEFY commercial campaign:

For GDEFY shoes we worked with Hybrid Media to produce two national commercials that were both 1 minute with 30 and 15 second cut downs.

GOALS

  • Drive brand awareness and to drive customers to gdefy.com/tv
  • To create a hybrid approach that pulls like a Direct Response campaign but feels like a branded spot.

SOLUTION

  • We created two spots. One was a more emotionally engaging, nike style, spot. The second was an upbeat, fast paced, benefits driven spot.

THE PROCESS

  • We first develop a creative brief with some creative concepts and very rough budget numbers.
  • Once we identify which concepts to pursue, a visual treatment for each spot is developed. There can be a lot of back-and-forth with the client during this phase to dial in their messaging and brand look and feel.
  • A final script is written
  • The casting process begins. For gdefy this was extensive due to the fact that we had over 20 roles to fill.
  • THE SHOOT. Full production either in a studio or on location. Depending on the shoot requirements a crew from around 10 people to double or triple that will be involved. For gdefy we had a 15 person crew with an additional 10 + actors.
  • THE EDIT. Editing and motion graphics are completed in our comfortable Kearny Mesa office (central San Diego). Clients are welcome to sit in on edits but most prefer to have daily to weekly edits sent to them for comments.
  • THE DELIVERABLES. We can deliver any broadcast or web specs needed, including to Netflix.
